Choose Reference mode and describe what you want to see. Turn a scene, story moment, or advertising idea into a video.
From a short description to a finished video. Learn how to create with vgenv, work with references, and take your next step after generation.
Start with a description. Add images, video, or audio whenever your idea needs a reference.
Sign in and open Studio. Describe the subject, action, and setting, then add camera movement, dialogue, music, or atmosphere as needed.
Upload any references, choose a duration, aspect ratio, and tier, then check your available free usage or the quoted price.
Select Generate and complete any payment confirmation shown. Follow the job’s progress, then play, download, or build on the finished video.
Create freely from an idea, or begin with an existing image. Choose the inputs that suit your scene.
Choose Reference mode and describe what you want to see. Turn a scene, story moment, or advertising idea into a video.
In Reference mode, add character, product, or scene images, a motion video, or an audio reference. References help convey details that are hard to describe.
Choose First / last frame mode and upload a first frame. Add a last frame to guide the ending. Last frames are available with Origin, or with Base/Cinematic Enhanced or Quality at 768p, subject to the capabilities shown in Studio.
Frame mode requires a first frame and uses separate inputs from Reference mode. Available combinations are shown in Studio. References guide the result; they do not guarantee an exact reproduction.
Prepare your references, then adjust the output. All uploads must finish before you can submit a generation.
| Input | Format | Count & size limit |
|---|---|---|
| Reference images | JPEG / PNG / WebP | Up to 9, 5 MiB each |
| Reference video | MP4 | 1 video, 200 MiB |
| Reference audio | MP3 / WAV | 1 audio file, 50 MiB |
MP4 files need an audio stream; a silent audio stream is accepted. First and last frames each accept one image. Retry failed uploads or replace unavailable files.
Choose public images from the material library or reuse My materials. The first-frame slot also lets you extract the last frame of one of your completed videos. Preview and confirm it to continue your next scene.
Videos shorter than 4 seconds or with unreadable duration must be replaced. Output dimensions vary by aspect ratio, and ordinary video duration may differ slightly because of frame alignment.
Use one character image and one motion video to create a new video featuring the target character. Sign in and choose Person replacement mode in Studio to get started.
2x cannot be enabled during replacement generation. Identity, motion, and background may differ from the reference; try a short clip to check the result first.
Use 2x upscaling for larger output dimensions. The interface labels upscaled 480p as approximately 1K, and upscaled 768p as approximately 2K. Exact dimensions depend on the aspect ratio.
Enable 2x in advanced settings to generate and upscale in one job. The price includes generation and upscaling. Origin, Enhanced, and person replacement do not support this option during generation.
Choose upscale on a completed original video that has not already been upscaled. Confirm the quote to create a new job, paying only for upscaling. The original stays available; eligible Enhanced and replacement videos are also supported.
Upscaling uses your balance, not free usage. An upscaled result cannot be upscaled again. Existing watermarks remain, and another upscale from the same original creates a separate paid job.
Follow progress in My jobs or Generation jobs, then manage completed videos in My works.
Preparation handles inputs, prompts, and review. Jobs are picked up in queue order. You can cancel while preparing or queued; a running job cannot be stopped through the normal cancel action. Completion estimates can change.
Use My works to view, download, or delete videos. Paid videos are private by default and can be made public, subject to content review.
Load an existing video’s prompt, available inputs, and settings into Studio. Edit them and select Generate to create a new job. Replace any expired inputs.
Visitors can browse popular public videos. Sign in to filter, open larger previews, like, save, share, and Remix. Studio’s reference panel can also load a video’s creation details.
Select 2–6 videos in My works, up to 90 seconds total. Arrange them, combine them in your browser, and download an MP4. Encoding, dimensions, and audio specifications must match.
Check your free usage or quoted price before submitting. There is no subscription; add funds when you need them.
Eligible accounts can use free generations for ordinary Fast videos with Base or Cinematic on the website, with 2x and Turbo turned off. The default allowance is up to 4 on registration day and 1 per day after that. Check the page for your available allowance.
Unused allowances do not roll over. Resets follow Beijing time for the China site and UTC for the global site. Free videos have a watermark, include platform sharing rights, and cannot be made private.
Origin, Turbo, Standard, Enhanced, Quality, replacement, upscaling, and video generation through the API use your balance. When free Fast usage is unavailable, confirm balance payment in the interface to continue.
The price depends on duration, tier, resolution, and additional features. Check the quote before submitting. Available payment methods appear in the interface; switching language does not change your balance or billing currency.
Acceptance reserves free usage or balance. Success settles the charge; failure or cancellation releases the reservation. Payment does not provide queue priority.
Check the job’s error message. A failed job releases its reserved balance or free allowance. Retry through the interface, or adjust your inputs and settings in Studio. A new generation uses the eligibility and price available at that time.
Make sure uploads have finished, file formats and sizes are supported, and the selected mode accepts the inputs. Motion videos must also cover the entire selected duration.
When free Fast usage is unavailable, the interface asks you to confirm balance payment. Check the amount before submitting, and add funds if your balance is insufficient.
Open the developer documentation for authentication, uploads, video creation, and result polling. Video generation through the API uses the project balance and does not use website free allowances.
